Toronto Solar Neighbourhoods Initiative - Ward 30 - Launch

Please join Mayor David Miller, Councillor Paula Fletcher, Windfall Ecology Centre's Executive Director Brent Kopperson and Solar Neighbourhoods staff for the official launch of the Toronto Solar Neighbourhoods Initiative in Ward 30.

When: Tuesday, May 12th, 10 a.m.

Where: Withrow Park (northeast corner of the park directly to the east of the old stone field house - see maps attached)

After much hard work and collaboration between City divisions, partner organizations, and the local solar industry, the Toronto Atmospheric Fund and Energy Efficiency Office are pleased to announce the official launch of the Solar Neighbourhoods initiative in Ward 30.

Please join us next Tuesday at Withrow Park to celebrate the launch, and kick-off a summer full of solar installs and clean energy here in Toronto's first solar neighbourhood.

Solar Neighbourhoods is a joint project of the Toronto Atmospheric Fund and Toronto Energy Efficiency Office supported by the Toronto Environment Office and Toronto Hydro.
