Global Adjustment Webinar
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
ClimateWise Business Network, in partnership with Energy@Work, is hosting a workshop on Global Adjustment (GA) to address the charge on your electricity bill.
GA was established by the Ontario government in 2005 to cover the cost of providing adequate generating capacity and conservation programs for Ontario. Recent regulatory changes allow commercial consumers (Class “A” with peak demand greater than 1MW) to choose how GA is charged, allowing them to be billed based on their consumption during the top five peak demand hours. While this creates an opportunity for companies to save money by implementing strategies to reduce or offset their load during these peak hours, it has also created some confusion in the industry.
