As a result, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recently released its sixth assessment report to alert the world of the alarming spike in activities deepening climate change.

The City of Toronto has released its much anticipated net-zero policy strategy for existing buildings. The comprehensive report was 18 months in the making by an expert team from Windfall Ecology Centre, the Integral Group, WSP, and Reep Green Solutions. It lays out an ambitious policy framework and pathways to net-zero for all buildings in Toronto by 2050.

On September 24 at Sheppard's Bush in Aurora, in celebration of Canada's and Ontario's 150th birthday, Windfall Ecology Centre hosted the Windfall Harvest Festival... A Celebration of Diversity: Food, Land and People. The festival featured First Nations dance and drumming, pioneer life reenactments, celebrity chefs, food sampling, nature walks, kids Nature Play and many more family activities.
