Windfall's award-winning Weather-Ready Home Assessment service helps residents prepare for the growing impacts of extreme weather. Available through both onsite and remote assessments, the service identifies risks related to flooding, extreme heat, severe storms, wildfire smoke, and other climate hazards, while providing tailored recommendations to improve home resilience. Developed in partnership with Durham Region, the Weather-Ready Assessment Protocol received CMHC's 2025 Gold Roof Award for Knowledge to Action in recognition of its leadership in climate-resilient housing.
